Score for the Cure 2012 a Success!

On Friday, June 15, 2012, the fourth annual Score for the Cure was held in Yardley, Pa.  The event, a 3 v. 3 soccer tournament for girls ages 9-13, saw the largest Score for the Cure ever, with over 140 players. There were 26 teams in total, 13 teams in two age groups. Friday's event netted $5,000 and the proceeds will go directly to the Lustgarten Foundation whose mission is to advance science related to the diagnosis, treatment, cure, and prevention of pancreatic cancer. Pennington School senior Nicole Baxter ran this year's Score for the Cure and wishes to thank all those who played, sponsored, donated items, and volunteered.
